I decided to test the facts and start taking a tablespoon of ACV before each meal for two days. My conclusion is that it really does suppress your appetite, and while it doesn’t taste great, you become more used to it after the first day.

There are many benefits to coconut oil that are still undergoing study. Replacing other oils such as vegetable oil with that coconut can help trim your waistline significantly. Remember that you should use coconut in place of, not in addition to, other oils.

One exciting study years ago sought to measure the effectiveness of adding different oils to cow’s diets in order to fatten them up quickly for the butcher. However, if you feel that you really can’t control your appetite and binges, this might be an excellent way to start you off on the first few pounds until you feel you can take the reins.

Aloe Vera Juice

Before we get to weight loss, here are a few things to know about aloe vera. The cactus is an all-around wonderful healing plant. Its gel can be used for cuts, scrapes, burns, and eczema as well as internally to cleanse your digestive system and add vitamins and enzymes to your body, and it is also a laxative.

Aloe, taken in moderation, helps keep our metabolism up to speed and stabilizes blood sugar. Keeping your blood sugar even is essential to weight loss.

You can buy bottled aloe juice, but I recommend using the fresh leaves from the plant. The inner gel can be added to yogurt, orange juice, or just taken straight. You’ll find that it is quite bitter.

Oatmeal

If you truly want to slim down, eat plain rolled oatmeal for breakfast every single morning. Top it with a serving of fruit or try my personal favorite- add 1tbs brown sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon for great flavor. This recipe makes for especially easy weight loss for teenage girls and boys, who often don’t get the fiber they need.

Eat Spicy Peppers

One of the easiest home remedies for weight loss is adding spicy peppers into your normal diet. Did you know that the capsaicin in peppers speeds up your metabolism? Capsaicin is the natural ingredient that makes peppers spicy, and many studies have found that it can increase your weight loss quite a bit. Add it to stir fry or almost any vegetable dish for an instant kick!

Acai Juice

Acai berries are native to Brazil and have an extraordinarily high antioxidant level, at least five times that of a blueberry. Brazilians have eaten them for hundreds of years to get energy, cleanse the body and lose weight.

Water

One of the best home remedies for weight loss is limiting how many calories you intake at each meal by drinking a full glass of water prior. This will help fill you up and take away part of the hunger pang.
